*** I apologize for making everyone wait so long for Chapter 12, even though really it hasn't been nearly as long as usual... ;) But I thought I would post this anyway, because all you readers have been so kind to me, and you deserve it! Written 8/31/04.*** ... View Post
::POEMS:: For my horse Lady, by Lossefalme.
*** The saddest day of my life so far: 3/30/04, Lady, my horse for five years, passed away from a bad case of colic, she twisted her intestines and there was nothing we could do for her. I wrote this and the poem below on 3/31/04: I went back this morning to see her one last time. God, it was so horrible. So today, being bored, I decided I should go ahead and write the thing. And then I thought I should share it, because some of you horse lovers I know might be able to appreciate it. Anyway, this poem is dedicated both to Lady and to Morsul, who both love(d) to run the barrels: *** "Your Race" When you walk through that gate, The whole world fades, This is your ... View Post
::SONG:: by Lossefalme
*** While talking to a friend on MSN last night, she changed her name to "Mary Jane" because she was listening to a song by Alanis Morissette entitled "Mary Jane". Being that it was rather late and I tend to get creatively delirious at those times, I came up with this song at the spur of the moment. I have a tune for it, amazingly, but I can't sing or write music, so I will probably let my little sister Molly look at it, since she CAN sing. :) Written 8.27.04.*** "Mary Jane" Mary ... View Post
