COVER REVEAL for “In Death, Everything”!

Good morning, my lovelies!

Today I am *THRILLED* to share with you the cover for my soon-to-be-published short story entitled “In Death, Everything”. This short was inspired by a poem I wrote a few years ago (by the name of “No Box For Me”), which was in turn inspired by an evening jog, where I saw a 110-year-old headstone in our local cemetery had broken in a recent storm.

That got me to thinking.

Which led to the poem, which led to this story.

I recently decided I would go ahead and share this story with the world via publication. And I suppose what better time to release a book which explores after-death than near Halloween, right?

So here is, without further ado, the cover reveal!

I just could not be happier with this one! Many, many thanks to The Cover Collection for such great work, and for being a true pleasure to work with! (I highly recommend them!)

And now, a short excerpt:

Having died, you realize the living have death figured all wrong. Some think they are more right than others; some don’t care if they are right at all. Some care enough about being right that they actually murder over it, which in hindsight is quite ironic – and it’s just too bad those poor murdered souls can’t come back to tell the rest what after-death is really like. But in the end, when it really counts, they are all still equally wrong.

It will be disorienting at first, especially to those with high expectations. There will be no fanfare of trumpets, no bright lights or tunnels. Unfortunately, there are no pearly gates, no golden streets or glass towers, no halos or wings or booming voices or angelic songs heralding your arrival into a grand paradise.

Instead, you will not know you are dead for some time.

The book will be available on Amazon sometime during the last week of October … maybe I’ll just save it for Halloween! We’ll see!
