So it’s like the middle of the month, but better late than never! O_o
For the last half of the month of August, I need to…
- Submit short story “The Transference” to Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Contest by September 1st.
Edit two documents for two different writing friends.(Done! 8.18.13 and 8.19.13)- FINISH FIRST ACT OF THE CONTEST ENTRY NOVEL. At the moment I’m having a hard time seeing how I can have this entire thing finished and edited by October 1st, but I’m not giving up just yet. I’m nearing 30k words and just getting toward the end of Act 1, so it’s likely going to be right around the standard sci-fi word count of 100k. But that’s a big order to write and edit (and re-edit and re-edit) in a month and a half. We’ll just have to see….!
ADDITION: I also need to edit the second chapter of the contest entry novel and send it out to my betas! AGH!(Done! 8.17.13)
I think I’m just going to leave it at that, for now. On top of all of this, we are preparing for our annual football kick off party, which has become a huge event, and I’m also starting up a small online shop to sell some of my arts and crafts. So, this is a busy, busy end of summer! But, I foresee many wonderful things ahead….

LOL!!! Well thanks! 🙂 I am desperately behind in my blogging, truth be told, though most of that is to blame on a much-needed week-long vacation!
