Progress Report and CotR Word Count

I spent yesterday running around with my friend Andrea looking at wedding dresses for her.  It was really fun, but I didn't get to write any.  So today I made myself sit down and get some more of Cheetah on the Roof (CotR) into the computer:Starting word count: 8,724Ending word count: 10,148A little snippet:“Situation?” Claire repeated, gazing up at the cat and feeling hazy, as if she might faint. She took a few deep breaths of the cold night air to try and ... Official Work Begins!!!

Since Saturdays are my main day to get any writing done, but also the main day I do any apartment cleaning, I have made a resolution to get my cleaning done during the week so I can actually have time on Saturdays to write.  So far that resolution is working wonderfully!  Here I am sitting on the deck in this unusually gorgeous January weather, listening to the birds, and I'm OFFICIALLY starting serious work on "Cheetah on the Roof" ... Progress Report – November

Well.  My lovely novel-writing progress has come to a screeching, whiplash halt due to the sequel to one of my favorite video games coming out.  :P Saints Row 2 has completely ruined my momentum. However, all is not lost, as I've just beaten the game about two days ago.  So it cannot control my life any longer.  Mwahahahaaa!  Unfortunately it also inspired some fanfic.  But I've stuck to my rule of only releasing oneshots from now on (aside from the ... Progress Report

Several months ago I sat down and came up with "The Plan" regarding the general direction I'd like my life to take in the near future.  A large part of that plan dealt with getting around to finally being serious about writing novels, as I've already mentioned.  The original Plan called for all of my fanfictions to be finished by August, with novel work commencing daily after that, and a very minimum daily writing quota of one typed page a day.  (That is of ... The Three Ideas – Origins

I have more than three ideas in mind as of this moment, but there are three specific ones I'd like to concentrate on for this 'first round' of serious writing.  I picked these three because they are the ones that have been floating around in my head the longest, and they are the three that are the closest to actually having a roughly complete plotline.Actually, none of them really have a plotline even close to complete.  Because I find it impossible ...
