For something totally random and different, please enjoy these three amazing haikus, each revolving around a short story (which makes them way more awesome than a regular haiku, of course!), whipped up over lunch by another of my writer friends - Rod Galindo: Can you guess which short story of mine these haikus refer to?? ;) *** A new body waits, Transfer: unpredictable, Doc, where am I now? *** Werewolves on my heels Yes, nice day for a parade Lily, I love you *** And this one is ... Writing Prompt Wednesday: My second foray into Found Poetry…
Comment: I got a little blackout-happy on this one and accidentally blacked out two words I had meant to keep, so I wrote them back in between the lines. Whoops! Again, I found this very fun. (Okay, let me rephrase, "doing nothing productive on your writing"... we all know ... View Post

Being that it was rather late and I tend to get creatively delirious at those times, I came up with this song at the spur of the moment. I have a tune for it, amazingly, but I can't sing or write music, so I will probably let my little sister Molly look at it, since she CAN sing. :) Written 8.27.04.*** "Mary Jane" Mary ... View Post
