Since I can’t seem to keep up with monthly updates or reviews or rundowns (seems I can’t even remember what I did in a month, usually, ergh), here is a look back on my successes and challenges so far for the year 2021 as a self-published (indie) author.
Being that on the day I actually felt like doing this, my wrist was flaming up (carpal tunnel, tendonitis, who knows, but something’s going on there)… I decided to do this one as a vlog entry. And I might do more blogs this way, since it seems infinitely faster than trying to collect my thoughts in a coherent text manner…
In this reflection, I talk about:
– what I’ve accomplished so far in 2021
– the biggest challenges to writing and publishing for me so far in 2021
– how my original plans for the year had to shift and why
– why I don’t plot anymore
– the #1 thing you need (in my experience) to get the writing done no matter what
– what’s currently working for me as far as writing consistently and my writing process
– the impact your writing SPACE can have on your mental ability to create
