Writing Goals: Bait, Fish and Reel Report for March 2016

You know, I haven’t done of these monthly goal accomplishment round ups since November of 2015! Whoops!

But it’s time to get back on track! At least, with sharing them publicly. I’ve been privately taking stock of my goals and progress, but I like being able to put them out here for a wider accountability!

So here’s a run-down of what I managed to accomplish in March 2016:

  • Edited a client’s 89,800 word erotic thriller novel.
  • Edited just a bit of my own science fiction novel PRIMUS.
  • Went through about 1/3 of each of the two online courses I purchased recently, one from Nick Stephenson and one from Tim Grahl.
  • Rebuilt my front website page.
  • Rebuilt my mailing list landing page and made new graphics for my landing page, as well as a new Twitter and FB cover photo.
  • Attended fellow Wordwraith Kristin Helling’s debut novel launch party (by the way, you can check out her book CAPSULE here!).
  • Posted tweets for our publishing imprint Wordwraith Books LLC.
  • Wrote a few blog posts on the 30 Day Writing Challenge.
  • Listened to the rest of Nick Stephenson’s book “Wanted”, which reminded me how much I love thrillers!
  • Started reading Joyce Layman’s book “Your Connection Advantage” and Eric Sims’ “How to Make a Million F*cking Dollars”.
  • Met with some people about a mutually beneficial business venture involving my super secret freebie I’ll be sending to my mailing list VERY SOON!!! ^_^
  • Beta read fellow Wordwraith Rod Galindo’s 12,000 word “short” story.

As you can see, it was a very busy month! April is shaping up to be just as busy, so hang on tight! 2016 here we come!
